Start Your Writing

Writing is one of the way people express their feeling in a written form. For some people, writing is fun and can give them a room for share their experience, opinion, and  knowledge to other people. In the other hand, some people don’t think that writing is fun. Some people face some trouble of writing, such as they can’t find any ideas or they don’t know where to start. For this problem, we just need to know the process of writing. They are:

Brain-storming

Brain-storming is the first step we begin our writing. This process is the way to find ideas for your writing. If you get your idea, it is time to change it into a simple way to become a written form.

Mind-mapping

Mind-mapping is just like a tree that has many branches. The tree is your idea and the branches are the details information or characteristics about your idea. Write the important detail of your idea.

Drafting

Drafting is the main step of writing itself. From the mind-map you have, change it into sentences that explain about the “branches” of your idea. In this step, you also have to arrange your sentence in order. For example, you have to put the most interesting sentence in the first line to get the reader’s interest.

Finalizing

After you have your whole writing, you have to read it carefully to find any mistakes you made, such as spelling, grammatical errors, punctuations, etc. Most of people don’t do this step because they believe that they don’t make any mistakes.

Proof reading

Proof reading is just like finalizing. The different is proof reading is done by someone else. Proof reader is a reader that can give us feedback of what we write before our writing is reading by the “real reader” out there.

The theories of writing maybe make the writing itself too systematic, but the importance of writing is that you have to enjoy your writing and express your unlimited feeling and experiences into words and share it with others.
